Renee grew up in Titusville, Pennsylvania, the birthplace of the oil industry. In 2016 she was inducted into the Titusville High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and today her athletic pursuit involves golf and horseback riding. Renee is currently on the Executive Committee of the Energy and Mineral Law Foundation and a frequent speaker for energy conferences across the country. She would love to discuss everything horses with you or any title questions you may have.

Moore is a 6th generation West Virginian who was raised in Kanawha County, an all-state athlete and proud product of the public school system. He graduated from George Washington High School before going to Duke University and Washington & Lee University School of Law.
Moore is currently a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates where he serves as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. In 2020, as Chairman of the West Virginia Republican Legislative Committee, he was the architect of the first Republican supermajority in history of West Virginia.
5After graduating college, Moore worked Washington, D.C. to begin his career in public service. He worked for the Republican Majority in the United States Congress, traveled in support of the President as a member of The White House advance team, and served on the staff of the Secretary of Defense.
After law school, Moore moved back home to West Virginia, where he lives and raises his two young children.

Andy Graham has practiced energy and mineral law with Steptoe & Johnson PLLC over the last 20 years in Texas and West Virginia, focusing on mineral title examinations, assisting clients buying or selling mineral, midstream and renewable energy assets, and handling surface use issues arising from energy development. He also teaches energy land management at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia and writes about energy law developments for the Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law’s Mineral and Energy Law Newsletter. He has been included in Woodward/White’s The Best Lawyers in America® every year since 2012. He graduated from Shepherd College, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia, and is admitted to practice law in West Virginia, Texas, and Ohio.
Shawn Grushecky

Dr. Shawn Grushecky is an Associate Professor of Energy Land Management at West Virginia University (WVU), with a Ph.D in Natural Resource Science from WVU. Shawn led the development of the Energy Land Management degree program at WVU, which now has had over 200 graduates during the past 10 years. Shawn’s research, funded by 93 grants totaling over $20 million, focuses on land management and energy, and has contributed to over 60 peer-reviewed publications and 150 professional presentations. Shawn has recently served as a CO-PI for significant USDA and USDOE projects. He also serves the community in various roles, including the past 8 years as a board member with the West Virginia Botanic Garden.

Lee has 15 years of field and corporate experience in the energy space, beginning his career on the operational side of oil and gas as a landman and most recently holding the position of Manager of Real Estate at Oriden, Mitsubishi Power’s full service renewable energy provider, where he guided Oriden’s efforts to build a strong utility-scale solar presence.
Lee holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans and is a Certified Professional Landman.

Michael has 15 years of corporate experience in the energy space, starting on the operational side of oil and gas as a landman and most recently working on the corporate finance side of renewables, as a business controller.
Michael joined Rally Point in early 2023 by way of CVE, a multi-national renewable company, where he participated in many policy and strategy conversations to guide the company’s acquisition of large, quality community solar portfolios; as well as the buy and sell sides of the company’s project finance activities.
Michael holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh’s Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
Tim Knobloch

Tim Knobloch is president of James Knobloch Petroleum Consultants Inc. (formerly James Engineering Inc.) based in Marietta, Ohio. Tim has been associated with the firm since 1997 performing reservoir analysis and economic appraisals, estimating and auditing oil and gas reserves, production analysis, oil and gas appraisals, and acquisitions and divestitures. The company also maintains a current database of all Appalachian Basin horizontal wells including location, completion, production, and reserves analysis information.
Tim began his career in 1979 with Amoco Production Company in Traverse City, Michigan as a drilling and production engineer and later worked in the Appalachian Basin with Quaker State and Peake Energy before joining James Engineering.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, is a lifelong member of the SPE, and is also a member of the International Institute of Minerals Appraisers.

Mr. Morgan began his career in land work while finishing college by reporting results to the client, negotiating oil and gas leases, and running title. He took on increasing responsibilities to manage the land brokerage firm operations in the acquisition of oil and gas leases. After project was shut-down, moved in-house with an upstream exploration and production company as a Landman. While working in-house, attended law school and passed the Pennsylvania Bar Exam. He has a passion for oil and natural gas development because it provides for the country’s energy needs.
Morgan O'Brien

Morgan K. O’Brien is Hearthstone’s Chief Executive Officer. He is a native Pittsburgher who was raised by a blue collar Irish-Catholic family to value all people and all forms of work. His work ethic and value of other people helped him rise to become CEO at Duquesne Light Company the electric provider for Western Pennsylvania. He later moved over to become the CEO at Peoples Gas serving Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Kentucky.
In those roles, he was the face and voice of the hardworking employees who dedicated each day to helping the families and businesses they serve. He successfully helped grow both companies in terms of employment, customer base and in total investor value. He has positioned both Peoples and Duquesne Light as the true community partners and champions they are today. They both continue to invest and partner with many organizations that drive economic development and improve the quality of life in the regions they serve.
O’Brien earned his college degrees from Robert Morris University. O’Brien is active in civic organizations, including serving as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of his alma mater. He also serves on many boards, some which include Matthews International, Watt Fuel Cell Company, Dollar Energy, Co-chair of Pittsburgh Works Together and African American Chamber.
Robert M. Stonestreet

Robert Stonestreet focuses his practice on land, energy, and environmental law. He has a wide array of regulatory and courtroom experience, including representation of clients in matters involving lease and land disputes, environmental permitting, enforcement actions, serious personal injury/wrongful death, land contamination, toxic exposure, and complex commercial disputes.
During his nearly 20 years in practice, Mr. Stonestreet has tried multiple cases to verdict before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He has served as lead counsel in multiple appeals to the West Virginia Supreme Court and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Stonestreet graduated from Marshall University, summa cum laude, in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in History. He received his law degree in 2003 from West Virginia University College of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Stonestreet served as Executive Manuscript Editor of the West Virginia Law Review and graduated in the top five percent of his class.
Outside of the law, Mr. Stonestreet is an avid distance runner and outdoor recreation enthusiast. He has completed multiple road marathons and various types of long-distance trail races.
Dan Weaver

Daniel J. Weaver is president and executive director of the Pennsylvania Oil & Gas Association (PIOGA), the state’s largest and oldest oil and gas trade association representing the full industry – from conventional to shale and beyond.
On behalf of PIOGA’s approximately 375 member companies, he works closely with elected leaders, regulators and the civic community to advance responsible oil and gas development and promotes a favorable environment to the success of the exploration and production, the transportation and the downstream end-users of these energy resources.
Prior to serving in this role, Mr. Weaver was Director of Public Outreach at PIOGA where he was responsible for communications and public education. Mr. Weaver launched the PIOGA Energy Education Program (PEEP), a “teach-the-teachers” program for educators in grades 5 through 8, to provide age-appropriate energy curriculum for future generations.
Before joining PIOGA, Mr. Weaver served 11 years as a Museum Educator at the Drake Well Museum and for a term as the Manager of the Friends of Drake Well Museum. Dan was instrumental in the creation of the Mobile Energy Education Training Unit (MEET-U), a portable classroom that has traveled over 200,000 miles to provide information about energy to students and the public in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and New York. Mr. Weaver, a Penn State University graduate and an active outdoorsman, was born and raised in in the heart of the historic oil industry, Oil City, Pa. He lives in northwestern Pennsylvania with his wife, Marlie. They have three children.
