AAPL's Structuring A Deal: Negotiation Strategy and Technique is designed for land professionals involved in negotiating deals and contracts in the oil and gas industry and includes negotiations for oil and gas leases, surface agreements, rights-of-way, mineral acquisitions, farm-ins, trades, AMIs, assignments (producing and non-producing), and mergers and acquisitions.
Learn steps to prepare for effective negotiating, how to move through blocks and barriers in communication, overcoming issues that may arise, staying on target, and getting more deals signed. The course includes counter tactics, knowledge, and tools that are easy to use and implement.

She has a Master’s in Communications and Negotiations. With her passion for resolving conflict and helping others she has motivated and inspired audiences to get to the root of the issue and make real progress. Her main focus is in negotiating and mediating in difficult, challenging, and hold-out situations working towards conflict transformation.
She’s an award-winning speaker with years of experience building and leading training programs. Marita is dedicated to empowering professionals and individuals to strategically work through conflicts.
When not on stage, Marita can be found travelling with friends and family, in the kitchen creating new recipes, and encouraging women and children in education.
